Townsville Landmarks V2 Delayed

Hi All,
This post is an update for where we are with Townsville Landmarks V2.

Unfortunately the chance of a release prior to the new year is looking slim now due to me catching covid with an already weak immune system.

I was hoping to release this V2 on Christmas day for you all to enjoy hopefully after spending such much needed time with family, however as I have been sick for nearly 6 days now and unable to get out of bed this has cause significant delays.


With the project now pushing out beyond what I was aiming for it does allow me to spend some more time to fine tune things.

Things that have been included with the upgrade is the new Ardo building and relocation of the waterfront helipad, so we’ve altered the photogrammetry to have nice aprons, line markings and detail in areas where we expect you to be (No this does not mean that a multi-level car park has fire-sprinklers modelled too I don’t think we’re that crazy. This is a flight simulator after all)


There are several landmarks included in this now that we missed the first time around and thanks to our community we’ve now been able to get these right. Anything that isn’t included in this can still be mentioned to us but there is a good chance that this is due to it being included in our upcoming Townsville Airport Scenery.
