Product Compatibility MSFS 2020/24

The big question currently is, do our products work with the new simulator…

Our team thankfully were able to get into the sim before the simulator experienced major issues dealing with the player count that it received as people around the world accessed it.

We have checked over all our products and are confident that you will be able to copy the files we have provided you for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020,
you will be able to use the existing product files with minimal impact to the overall product we have listed our known issues if you experience issues beyond what is listed please let us know via email or raise a ticket in the discord.

Issues Noted:

• Terrain Elevation (Due to the new sim being able to achieve much higher detail for terraforming, some areas may appear more severe)
  
• Minor Scale Increase (Only appears to affect LOD’s for small models from far distances)
  
• Minor Lighting Issues

We believe the issues above will not affect your immersion in the simulator and will continue to provide and support our products for both simulators.

VDGS Driver:
For locations such as YPAD and YSCB you may require additional updates to restore full functionality to the VDGS Setups in those products.

Moving forward, when our team can free up development time, we will release “Enhanced” versions of our scenery that will be at a small cost to you as a user to upgrade to. These versions will use as much of the new simulators features to enhance your experience and immerse you in the simulator.

As of right now, we don’t have plans to have any products that will be released for the new simulator only, that being said all of our products will keep enhanced versions for now, until the simulator is stable enough that we see a shift in the market to support a direct change to our workflow.
